Other skills and responsibilities you can expect to use in this position:

• Should be comfortable with digital x-rays both intra oral and panorex
• Preparing treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols
• Preparing patients for dental treatments by welcoming, comforting, seating and draping patient
• Able to perform all aspects of lab work including pouring, trimming and polishing study casts
• Expected to maintain professional and technical knowledge
• Knowledge of Maxident is an asset

• We’re open Monday to Friday, 9 - 5 am - No evenings or weekends are required!

Salary expectation: $24 - $25/hour (based on experience)

Other benefits:

• A signing bonus of $700, paid after one year of continuous employment
• A moving subsidy of 30%, up to a maximum of $600 with proof of receipt, including GST number
• A tuition subsidy of 25%, based on RRC resident tuition fees with proof of receipt, including GST number

In this position, you’ll deliver patient care to many of our amazing patients and perform all aspects of clinical preventive hygiene services including scaling, periodontal charting, polishing and topical fluoride. We’re looking for someone to continue establishing strong patient relationships, while maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.

As a key part of this dental clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a strong team of dental professionals.

• Has successfully completed a Canadian accredited dental hygiene program
• Is licensed to work in Canada and able to license with the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba
• Has their valid CPR Certification
• Is an excellent team player
• Has excellent attention to detail and is well-organized
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
