Our History

PROVIDING DENTISTRY SINCE 1987

Keystone Dental Centre has been providing family dentistry to patients in Brandon and the surrounding Westman community for more than three decades. Dr. David Chin and Dr. Margaret Choy founded the practice in 1987 after graduating from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Dentistry. From the beginning, they were committed to creating a welcoming environment where both patients and staff could feel comfortable and cared for.

In 2008, Keystone Dental Centre moved from Brandon Shoppers Mall to its current location at the corner of Richmond Avenue and 9th Street. The new space provided an opportunity to expand the practice while improving comfort, accessibility and the overall patient experience.

In 2025, the practice entered its next chapter when Dr. Nicole Wotton purchased Keystone Dental Centre, allowing Drs. Chin and Choy to transition into semi-retirement. While the practice continues to evolve, its commitment to exceptional patient care remains at the heart of Keystone Dental Centre.

We are proud to carry forward the legacy built by Drs. Chin and Choy and look forward to continuing to serve patients and families throughout Brandon and the Westman community for years to come.

Meet Our Dentists

DR. NICOLE WOTTON

Owner / Dentist

Following graduation from the University of Manitoba dental school in 2013, Dr. Wotton completed a General Practice Residency at the Health Sciences Centre (HSC) in Winnipeg. For nearly ten years, Dr. Wotton practiced family and cosmetic dentistry in Winnipeg before returning to Brandon.

In June 2023, she returned to her hometown and joined Keystone Dental Centre as a dental associate, bringing her advanced training and community-focused care back to her home roots.

Dr. Wotton is known for being a compassionate, patient-first provider who prioritizes continuing education to bring the latest practices to her dental clinic. Dr. Wotton enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in orthodontics.

In her spare time, Dr. Wotton, her husband, and their husky enjoy travelling and exploring the outdoors through all the seasons. You’ll find them hiking, trail running and camping.

DR. COURTNEY SANJENKO

Dentist

Raised just outside of Brandon in a rural community, Dr. Sanjenko completed her undergraduate degree at Brandon University before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba. She is grateful for the opportunity to return to Brandon and care for the people in the community she is proud to call home.

Outside of the office, you’ll likely find her with a good book or spending time with her family and friends.

DR. DAVID CHIN

Dentist

Dr. David Chin earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Manitoba and, together with Dr. Margaret Choy, opened Keystone Dental Centre in 1987. After many years of caring for generations of patients, Dr. Chin is now transitioning into semi-retirement while continuing to stay connected to the clinic.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chin enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors, especially fishing and exploring Northern Manitoba. He looks forward to having more time to enjoy these passions in this next chapter.

DR. MARGARET CHOY

Dentist

Dr. Margaret Choy has her doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Manitoba as well as a post-graduate certificate in Restorative & Esthetic Dentistry from the University of Minnesota. She opened Keystone Dental Centre with Dr. Chin in 1987. Dr. Choy helped to mould the future dental leaders of Manitoba by teaching at the University of Manitoba for more than eight years.

As a former Scout leader, Dr. Choy understands the importance of being prepared for anything. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and baking. Now semi-retired, Dr. Choy especially enjoys traveling to visit her grandchildren. She has also added knitting and crochet to her growing list of hobbies.
